When writing up the derangements for live-action, there was a lot of 'adjusting' that occurred. Sometimes its difficult to distinguish between some of the Whitewolf derangements (Crimson Rage vs. Berserker), sometimes Whitewolf took a symptom of a psychological diagnosis and turned it into its own derangement (paranoia can be one symptom of schizophrenia), and sometimes Whitewolf made something into a derangement out of something that's unusual, but not actually considered a psychological disorder (synesthesia), or use ambiguous names (Obsessive/Compulsive as described in WhiteWolf refers to Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, which itself is often confused with Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder). Though this website focuses on how to play them in live-action, I try to draw in more detail about the actual disorders when possible, give examples of characters with the derangement, as well as links to more real information and fictional information (books/movies/informational websites).

Derangements in White Wolf(Note that all derangements not found in the basic larp book can be found on the One World By Night Malkavian Clan Pages)
|
Other interesting derangements to con your ST into(Note: Some of these are not full disorders in their own right. But if WhiteWolf is going to consider Delusions of Grandeur a derangement in its own right, then Somatic Delusions ought to be something people could take as well, since both of them are actually symptoms of other disorders...)
